Sharon’s photographs have appeared in Smithsonian, Aperture, Time, American Film, Connoisseur, Geo, Travel/Holiday, Science, Sports Illustrated, Forbes and other publications. She was awarded a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship in photography, the Lowell Thomas Award for Color Photo Illustration, 2nd place, Single Image Travel category by FotoWeek DC, and photographed for a year in Turkey on a Fulbright Fellowship. Her work has been exhibited in many solo and group shows, including a group exhibit in 2010 at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
